Great location and within a 10-15 minute walk to Bolos do Vale, where we had a meal a couple of times, added to the experience.

Clean hotel, liked to be just off downtown of spinta Dalgada thanks to favourable and magnificent location. The a twin room had all we needed, including clean bathroom. Very friendly staff suggested restaurants.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was bad.

Our twin room had a nice writing table and its own private entrance 🛋️. the bathroom was spotless and had spacious walk-in showers.

I stayed at Pio XII for a few nights while exploring Sao Miguel, and it was a great choice. The hotel is located just a 15-minute walk from the center of Ponta Delgada, making it convenient for exploring the city. The building itself is new and immaculately clean, with no bugs or dampness. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the 24-hour reception was a bonus. The rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities I needed, including a kettle. The hot water in the showers was always reliable, and the beds were comfy. The hotel even allowed me to use their fridge for milk for my cereal. a fantastic stay at Pio XII!
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Incredible value, spotlessly clean and peaceful. Exceptional customer service, with welcoming and helpful staff. Conveniently located near attractions, grocery stores, and public transportation. Walking distance to the marina and city center. The building is modern, bug-free, with reliable hot water showers. The 24-hour reception is a bonus, with English-speaking staff. The option to use the staff fridge was appreciated. Ample parking available. A few outdoor seats downstairs. a fantastic choice for exploring the city and beyond.
